Thinking about homeschooling but have lots of questions? New to homeschooling? Come and get your questions about homeschooling answered!

This is a great opportunity to bring hesitant spouses or family members in to get THEIR questions answered as well!

Lending Library Wish List

This is a wish list of items that we would love to have in our member lending library, which we are currently in the process of creating. These would be things that we would love to have donated or purchased for the library. General things and specific things that members would love to have access to checking out.

If you would like to donate any of the below items or something not on the list, please contact our librarian, Cid at:  smart.cookie(at)comcast(dot)net

  • Books–Children’s picture books, chapter books, parenting books, education/homeschooling books, curriculum books, single subject books, fiction/nonfiction, self-help, poetry, anthologies, audiobooks…particularly books not readily accessible at local libraries.
  • Educational games, including board games for all ages/subjects
  • Dress-up clothes/props (especially in themed kits)
  • Science kits/items (telescopes, microscopes, magnets…)
  • Active play toys–parachutes, bean bags, ribbon sticks, obstacle course items…
  • Puzzles–all sizes/types/ages
  • Construction toys–lincoln logs, tinker toys, lego, wooden blocks, waffle blocks, etc…
  • Musical instruments
  • Electronic learning toys
  • Videos/DVDS–documentaries, educational
  • Music CDs/cassettes, especially music that is not readily accessible at local libraries.
  • Foreign language learning materials
  • Beginning reader materials
  • Learn-to-craft kits–sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc…
  • Activity kits for picture books
  • Math manipulatives such as abacuses, Unifix cubes, base ten blocks, and Cuisenaire rods
  • Unit study guides/materials for all subjects
  • Kits of manipulatives, text materials, and reproducibles
  • Teacher/Parent resource books for all subject areas
